In this parody, Mac and PC are once again trying to prove dominance over the other. The main difference in this from the actual commercials is that this time, it's South Park style. As par for any PC vs Mac debate, the characters start to mud sling at each other. However, in the end, both computers freeze up and fail.
In what ways does each character (The PC and the MAC) try to prove that they're better than the other? How does the stationary white background affect the producer's desired effect of this clip? How does this parody differ from what you might remember from the official commercials? Overall, is the producer of this clip successful at what he/she is trying to accomplish?

This video was closely related to the actual commercial with the music and setting. However, the conversations that took place were nothing like the video. In the commercial, instead of talking each other down, they seem to spend more time building themselves up. In this video, there is very little positive said about their own computer, except for when the mac states that "despite the game defficiency people still find me quite entertaining." In the commercial, I came to think macs were better because they only showed the cps problems and talked themselves up. In the video, I think the creators accomplished their goal of showing that both computers have many faults.
This video was entertaining to see someone mock the actually mac and pc commercials. In the normal commercials the mac and the pc there would be no bringing down of each other or harming the other. In this fake commercial however all that the two do are bring each other down and the mac even goes as far as sending the pc a virus. Its funny how after he send the virus he feels bad and wishes it had not hapened. The fake commercial does a good job showing how computers are potentially ruining people and can just get annoying at times.
This commercial was interesting in the fact that it was more like a political cartoon bring each other down. Just how candidates bicker back and forth bringing each other down. I think it was also funny that the mac sent the pc a virus and then felt bad about it. I think the producers use of a white background makes the watcher focus on the two characters. I also thought it was interesting that they use south park characters to portray a mac and pc instead of using an actual mac or pc.
